Slow living East Coast adventures: Visiting Westport Rivers Vineyards on a beautiful summer day ☀️🍷🌊

This was the perfect way to spend a mid-week summer day! My mom, aunt, and I visited Westport Rivers Vineyards in Westport, MA for a wine tasting, lunch, and a relaxing summer afternoon.
The weather could not have been any more perfect and the wine was crisp and refreshing. We started with a wine tasting and then heading out to the lawn area where they have a really delicious food truck that has tons of gluten free options. Let me just say, the bread they served my sandwich on was so good I was a little worried it might not actually be gluten free. But I’m happy to say I was symptom free after enjoying this meal — so it’s not a fluke, it’s actually *that good*!!!
After we ate we grabbed another cup of wine — you can buy by the glass or grab a bottle to enjoy — and then we wandered through the vineyards themselves. While we didn’t have the place to ourselves, you’d never know we weren’t alone — it was so peaceful even though there were quite a few parties here.
Post stroll we sat at the picnic tables to enjoy the view and happened to find a really cute vineyard cat. You’ll see in the video, but I think that cat is living their best life!!! What a cutie. It was instant love — from me, but also I think it went both ways. 😊

Fun fact: when you leave Westport Rivers Vineyards, if you time it right, you can stop by the local ice cream spot Handy Hill Creamery for a delicious cone of ice cream!
