Hello friend,

Oh friends. I absolutely adore you to the moon and back times infinity.

The messages and encouragement that you've sent me since I sent my France girl summer email – ahh you're just the best best.

I'm so glad to hear you feel inspired to chase dreams – one friend said it encouraged her to dream bigger, that it was proof that we can manifest bigger and better things than we're imagining – are you kidding me?!? 🥺 you know how to make a girl feel oh so special!!

If there's anything I could do with my life it's to encourage you to dream, quit the miserable job, find your happy. AND DO IT DIFFERENT THAN EVERYONE ELSE.

Not surprisingly, not everyone in my life has approved of my life choices. Some have told me as such, some have said they'd never do it but it's fine that I am, and some people simply think I'm being reckless. I had a whole email typed about that, but I'm not sure if I'll send it or not. It's very emotionally charged and while I do keep everything completely authentic here, it feels a little like an overshare to give some of the specific details. Let's just say, not everyone agrees and it hurt my feelings big time.

But if there's one thing that motivates me more than anything else, it's when people say I shouldn't do something. 🤭 Like please, go off, I can't wait to do it and make you eat your words. I'm not often in my villain vibes, but I absolutely let her come out when you tell me you don't think I should/can do something lol. Nothing makes me feel more alive.

That's where you'll find me living my French dreams – a little scared but doing it anyways despite the naysayers.

I'd challenge you that if there aren't people in your life who are disagreeing with you, that you might be living a little too snuggly in the zone of comfort. Like, sure, don't be reckless and go to a foreign country and hitchhike your way through sketchy back roads – but if you have a dream it should make some people uncomfortable.

There's a lot of people out there that will never chase their dreams, never try to do something different than the status quo, will never think outside the box. Some will never leave their hometown. Some will never think of quitting a miserable job. Some will never step on a plane. And those people will want to drag you down with them. They're gonna have opinions and they're gonna make them known. Chances are you can already think of who those people are for you.

For me, I knew I was winning when I shared this news with my oldest nephew and he responded excitedly instead of saying I shouldn't go or it's crazy – my mission of encouraging him to dream seems to be paying off and for that I'm thrilled. For every ounce of me doing something to prove people wrong, there's an equal measure of me doing it to encourage my favorite humans to dream bigger.

I don't know how many times or ways I can say this, but we only get this one life (that we know of!) and even if reincarnation is a real thing, this particular life journey you're on is so uniquely yours. There won't be another chance to live this age that you are now and chase the dreams that you have. We can never get the time back so you might as well go for it now while you are alive.

Day one starts today friends! What dream are you chasing? Reply and tell me so I can cheer for you! I absolutely believe you can accomplish any dream on your heart – that's why it's there. If you can dream it, you can do it 😘

PS - if you need a hint for what kinds of things you might want to pursue, take a look at your Pinterest boards. Two years ago I created a vision board of how I wanted to feel – it was very European summer. And welp. I kind of forgot I made that until after I booked France. Looks like I really have been wanting this forever!
